Ararat - Maryborough Bus Continues |

The communities of Elmhurst, Amphitheatre and Avoca will continue to have access to bus service to the larger centres of Ararat and Maryborough following the extension of the Grampians Pyrenees Flexible Transport Connection project.
The trial bus service from Ararat to Maryborough was launched in January this year and following a review of the service and a revamped timetable, it has been extended for a further 6 months.

Project co-ordinator Robyn Hemley said “The return service, which operates both morning and afternoon from each town (on Friday and Saturday ) has so far proven to be very valuable to residents living along the Pyrenees Highway corridor”
“ The timetable allows them to spend a full day in either major centre to shop, visit friends attend appointments or simply enjoy the day out” Robyn added.
