The Avoca Sport & Recreation Committee of Management manages the facilities at the Avoca Public Park.

Our Mission is to:

To improve and capitalize on the sporting and recreational potential of the reserve by providing opportunities for people (young and old) to participate and be involved with sport and other recreational activities by providing facilities of a quality that is the centre of social and community activities which will attract new members and other users.

Avoca was  one of 28 local communities to receive a share of more than $2.3 million from the State Government's Flood Recovery Community Infrastructure Fund in 2011. This was part of a $30 million fund which helped to rebuild and repair public infrastructure in flood affected communities across Victoria.
