Avoca Chinese Garden

'Garden of Fire and Water"

Out of the fertile soil in Avoca a Chinese garden has been cultivated in the Old Sale Yards.

This garden is a contemporary Chinese garden in Australia. As such it represents the important contribution the Chinese people made in the early settlement of Avoca and in particular on the gold fields.
