The April exhibition "Lasting Impressions" by Christopher Orr has been put on hold until the gallery reopens. Christopher is looking forward to presenting his collection of oil paintings.

Pyrenees Shire Council has launched a shop local campaign to support the business community through COVID-19. Council is facilitating the promotion of local businesses alongside Business for Beaufort and Advance Avoca through social media competitions. Facebook pages Visit Avoca, Visit Pyrenees and Destination Beaufort will run daily competitions from local businesses. Applications are welcome from eligible incorporated community and not-for-profit groups for the Pyrenees Shire Community Grants program for May 2020. Community Grants are for $750 for events and $1500 community focused equipment, projects and programs. Entries close at 5pm 18th May 2020.

The Avoca Community Arts & Gardens has cancelled this year's Art Show due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The committee looks forward to presenting another exceptional exhibition of local and regional artwork in April 2021 and encourages artists near and far to keep painting!
The Pyrenees Shire Council offers free public immunisation sessions in Beaufort and Avoca on the second Wednesday of the month. The sessions are on at the Beaufort Early Childhood Centre in Park Road from
9.30-10am and the Primary Care Centre at the Avoca Pre School Centre from 11.30am-12:30pm.
