Launch of www.avoca.vic.au at the
Avoca Riverside Market in 2008

 OUR COMMUNITY WEBSITE

The Community Website was launched in 2008 by Avoca Business & Tourism Inc. It contains local business and community directories, and is used to promote tourism, festivals and events in the district. The site also includes a local news board, a community feedback facility and community groups are encvouraged to co-ordinate their events by using the calendar.

The site will help to attract new businesses to the district, increase employment opportunities and our economic sustainability, while also further developing our town’s infrastructure.

The establishment of the “ONE STOP SHOP” website enables AB&T to provide a communication tool to help foster and develop stronger connections by promoting local business and economic development as well as participation in social, cultural, learning and civic activities.

We are currently rebuilding this site so please visit us regularly to see the latest editions. We welcome your feedback so we can maintain a viable communication link with our local community and the world wide web.

The revitalised  website was back online in March 2015.

Web volunteers work with Chris Elliott from Digibiz to rebuild the website in 2014
